On Thursday, May 25, Burch Diplomacy Club held the third plenary session of the Club Assembly of the 2016/17 academic year to elect the Club President and Vice President.
Isa Dukmenić, a second-year student of the Department of International Relations and European Studies, and Hata Kujraković, a first-year student of the same department, were elected President and Vice President, respectively.
They were elected unopposed with 13 votes for and one abstentation.
They ran on a campaign of organizing more activities dedicated to the academic and professional development of members, as opposed to trying to reach wider audiences through major events.
"We are very happy to have been able to persuade our colleagues that we are the best option for to lead the Club for the next year," said President-elect Isa Dukmenić on behalf of both.
The pair will assume the responsibilities of the President and Vice President on June 1, the last day of the academic year.
The swearing-in ceremony will take place in the Motif Room on the 1st floor of International Burch University. All are invited to attend.
