Dženita Čizmić, a second year student of Department of International Relations and European studies at International Burch University, participated in a week-long seminar “Social Entrepreneurship and Innovation” in Durres, Albania.
The seminar, which is a part of the project Raising the Advantages of Youth through Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship (RAISE) organized and implemented by the Beyond Barriers Association with other partners, aimed to improve the employability and competences of young people in partner organizations through young work and non-formal educational methods.
Also participating in the seminar alongside Čizmić was Delila Bajrić, a student of the Department of International Business at International Burch University. Therefore, the Department of International Relations and European Studies sent one of three individuals representing Bosnia and Herzegovina to the seminar and International Burch University two of three.
“This was a great opportunity for me to meet new people from all around the world and share ideas and cooperate with them. It was a great honor to represent Bosnia broad and I hope that I fulfilled my part of the job,” Čizmić reflected.
She is actively involved in activism, social entrepreneurship, and innovation and has been active in the aforementioned fields for years.
The Department of International Relations and European Studies is proud to have Dženita Čizmić and other students like her studying at the Department and International Burch University, as well as representing Bosnia and Herzegovina abroad.
