Lejla Dautbašić, Dženana Sijamhodžić, Mirza Tokić, and Adnan Alijagić, second year students of the Department of International Relations and European Studies were declared and presented on Tuesday, October 1 at the Freshmen Orientation ceremony as some of the most active students at International Burch University.
Of a total of 12 students selected as the most active by Mr. Admir Salihagić, the Dean of Students of International Burch University, four are students at the Department of International Relations and European Studies. They were selected for their strong academic performance and extracurricular activities.
Lejla Dautbašić is also an active member of the Student Ambassadors Program, has volunteered with the Marketing Office throughout the previous academic year, and has visited various high schools in Tuzla and Sarajevo to hold presentations about the University. She was also a member of the University delegation to the Scholarship Day Fair.
In addition, she is an active member of Burch Diplomacy Club and Drama Club. Dautbašić also volunteered at the Student Symposium 2019, organized by the Faculty of Education and Humanities. Lastly, she was elected to the Student Parliament Assembly and currently represents the students of the Faculty of Economics and Social Studies in its Council.
Dženana Sijamhodžić is also a member of both the Student Ambassador Program, which is affiliated with and closely work with the University Marketing Office, and of Burch Diplomacy Club, which is affiliated and closely works with the Department of International Relations and European Studies.
Mirza Tokić, as well, is a member of both the Student Ambassadors Program and Burch Diplomacy Club. Like Dautbašić, he also visited several high schools in Bihać, Tuzla, and Sarajevo to hold promotional presentations about the University. In addition, he is a member of the Student Parliament Assembly and is currently the vice president of the Student Parliament.
Adnan Alijagić is an active member of the Student Ambassadors Program, a student club which promotes International Burch University by presenting its students and sharing their experiences of their University. He is also a member of Burch Diplomacy Club.
“I, and we, are very honored to be selected and recognized as some of the most active students at the University. Our Department is the most represented one and I am glad we were able to contribute to that. There is no doubt that we will continue being active,” Dautbašić said and the other concurred.
In their short year of studying at the Department of International Relations and European Studies and International Burch University, Dautbašić, Sijamhodžić, Tokić, and Alijagić have shown themselves as some of the most successful students at the Department and, evidently, as some of the most active at the University.
